Discovery Weekend
 Have you heard of marriage encounters? Well, this one's just like
that only it's for engaged couples or unengaged pairs seriously
considering marriage. This program is intended to enrich and deepen
the couple's relationship to better prepare them for marriage.
Throughout the entire weekend, each couple works in an atmosphere
of love and trust, peace and privacy. It's a rare opportunity for
real togetherness without the pressure from work, studies or any
social obligation.
The purpose of the Discovery Weekend:
- to assess each one's relationship to oneself, to each other,
to God and the Christian community.
- to experience, develop and deepen your relationship through
a method of communication and dialogue which you as a couple
can bring into the marriage.
- to witness the many dimensions of marriage openly, honestly
and realistically through the aid of a team of three married
couples and a priest.
- to be able to plan for your marriage and not just the wedding.
